Getting a rejection on your gift card trade is rare with us, but it does happen. Here are the five most common reasons and how to avoid them.
1. The Card Has Already Been Redeemed
This is the most common issue. Someone else already used the code before you traded it. Always check your card balance before reaching out to us. For physical cards, call the number on the back. For e-codes, try the official website's balance checker.
2. Wrong Region
We only accept US region cards for most brands. A UK iTunes or EU Steam card will be declined. Check before trading.
3. Blurry or Incomplete Card Photo
For physical cards, we need a clear photo showing the full card number and PIN. Partial photos, cut-off codes, or scratched-out PINs will result in a decline. Use good lighting and take the photo straight-on.
4. The Card Brand Isn't Supported
We don't buy every brand. Check our gift cards catalog first. If your brand isn't listed, message us anyway — we may still be able to help.
5. Rate Change Between Quote and Trade
Rates fluctuate. If there's a significant gap between when you received a quote and when you actually sent the card, the rate may have changed. Always trade same day as your rate quote.
