Aggregator sites list other numbers for this; we would not use them, because we cannot trace them to Ashley itself.

Present it in store when you pay. Ashley's own terms page states it is currently unable to accept Ashley HomeStore gift cards online, though it's "in the works." If you have one, treat it as an in-store instrument only until that changes.

2. Not redeemable online: The buyer needs to walk into a physical store.
3. Licensee ownership: Some Ashley-branded stores are independently owned licensees, which introduces uncertainty about where a given card is honoured.

Each of those is a discount. Together they're a big one.

The absence of an online balance checker is exactly what scammers exploit here. If someone sends you a link claiming to check an Ashley gift card balance online, it is not Ashley's, because Ashley doesn't have one. That single fact will save you more money than any other advice on this page.

2. Release the card number only once a rate is agreed with a named counterparty.
3. Ignore any "official Ashley balance checker" link sent to you directly, treat it as a red flag by default.

Ashley's published card terms indicate the card is not redeemable for cash except where required by law and is not replaceable if lost or stolen, with sources consistently reporting no expiry and no fees.
