How to trade your Shell gift card

  1. Check what type of Shell gift card you have: It could be a standard physical card, a refillable physical card, or an eGift card. Once you know which one you have, check the balance. Physical cards can be checked on the Shell balance page or at a Shell station, while eGift card balances can be viewed in the Shell App.
  2. Get your card details ready: If you're selling a physical gift card, take clear photos of the front and back so all the card details are easy to read. If it's an eGift card, forward the original redemption email you received. A clear photo or email helps us identify the card quickly and keeps the trade moving without unnecessary delays.
  3. Click "Sell My Card": Tell us the balance on your gift card and send the required card details over WhatsApp. We'll review the information, confirm our current rate, and let you know exactly when to expect payment. Once the card has been successfully redeemed, the agreed amount will be transferred directly to your bank account.
