How to trade your Aeropostale gift card

1. Check the balance: Aeropostale hosts a gift card balance checker on its own site. Enter the card number and PIN and the balance comes back on the spot. If the form rejects your details, call 1-877-289-2376 between 8am and 9pm ET, or walk into any Aéropostale store and ask at the register.

2. Take a clear photo of your card. Lay the card flat and shoot the front and back, making sure the number and PIN are legible. The PIN sits under a scratch-off panel, so take your time removing it. Scratch too hard and you'll take the digits off with the coating, which leaves you with a card nobody can verify and nobody can buy. For an eGift, screenshot the full email rather than cropping down to just the code.

3. Tap "Sell My Card". Send us the balance, the card type, and your photos over WhatsApp. We'll quote the current Aeropostale rate and confirm it with you before anything moves. Once we've verified the card on our side, you'll get a clear timeline and payment straight to your bank account.
