How to trade your Anthropologie gift card

1. Check the balance first: Visit Anthropologie gift card help page and type in your card number and PIN. There's also a dedicated gift card line on 1-800-920-5656 if you'd rather have someone look it up, and any Anthropologie store can check it in person.

2. Photograph the card: Take the front and back, keeping the number and PIN sharp and the whole card in frame. One thing specific to Anthropologie: if what you're holding came from a store as an exchange without a receipt, that's a merchandise card rather than a gift card. Those don't carry a PIN, which means they can't be checked online and can't be used online either. If yours has no PIN, tell us upfront so we handle it correctly instead of chasing a balance that was never going to load.

3.
