How to trade your Sam's Club gift card
Step 1: Check your Sam's Club gift card balance
Before you offer your gift card for sale, confirm exactly how much is left on it.
Visit Sam's Club gift official website. Sign in to your account, go to Payment Methods, enter the gift card number and the four-digit PIN, and check the available balance. You can also check the balance during checkout.
If you have an eGift card, the PIN can be found in the confirmation email.
Checking the balance first is important because the amount printed or originally loaded onto the card may not be the amount currently available. A card that has already been partially used should be traded based on its remaining balance.
Step 2: Prepare your gift card
Once you have confirmed the balance, get the card ready for verification.
For a physical Sam's Club gift card, take a clear picture of the front and back. Make sure the card number and other relevant details can be seen clearly when you are asked to provide them.
If the PIN is hidden under a scratch-off section, handle the card carefully. Do not damage the card while trying to reveal the PIN.
If you have the original receipt, keep it. A receipt can be useful if additional verification is required, especially when you are selling a higher-value card.
For an eGift card, keep the original email containing the gift-card information. Do not forward the card to random people or post the code publicly.
Step 3: Contact GiftCardCoach
Tap "Sell My Card" and provide the denomination, remaining balance and card type. Ask for the current rate before submitting your card. The rate you receive is not necessarily the same as a Dollar-to-Naira exchange rate, and gift-card rates can change.
Once you have confirmed the rate, follow the verification instructions. After the card is verified and the trade is approved, your payout will be sent to your Nigerian bank account according to the confirmed payout timeline.
