Dell Gift Card
Dell issues two distinct types of gift card, a standard Prepaid Gift Card that never expires, and a Promo eGift Card issued as part of a purchase incentive, which does expire. Both work toward laptops, desktops, monitors, and accessories on Dell's official website.

How to trade your Dell gift card
- Check the balance: Look at how you got it. If you bought it, it is a Prepaid Gift Card with no expiry. If it arrived free with a purchase, it is a Promo eGift Card with ninety days on the clock and terms that prohibit resale outright. Check the balance by calling 1-800-242-5353, the number Dell publishes in its card terms. If your promo card never arrived, the gift card team is on 1-877-819-3355 and will want your Dell order number.
- Find the expiry and save the email: On a promo card the expiry sits in the eGift Card notification email or on the carrier the card was attached to, and it is not always obvious, which is a long-running complaint from Dell customers. Screenshot the whole email rather than just the code. On a prepaid card there is no expiry to worry about, but keep your purchase record anyway.
- Tap "Sell my card": Send the value, the card type and the expiry date if it has one over WhatsApp. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, because a promo card carries a resale prohibition in its own terms and we will not pretend otherwise. Prepaid cards are a different conversation. Either way you will get a clear answer rather than a quote that changes later.
